heart throb already?

So this morning I am driving to bring Tyler to school. As we are turning into the subdivision and onto Sandy's street Tyler says "Stacia's car". I say "You see Miss Stacia's car?" (even though I knew he didn't) and he said "yeah". So we round the corner to Sandy's Daycare and there it was. I also saw Kaylee's dads truck in the driveway so I said "Tyler, baby Kaylee is here!" (one of his favorite kids at school). As we are getting out of the car he says to me "Tyler see Kaylee?". (you know how kids love to talk in third person) I said "Yep, we're going to see her right now". And out of pure curiosity of what his answer would be I asked "Is Kaylee your girl friend?" to which he replied "Yeeessss! Kaylee Tyler's girfriend."...... lovely......

Happy Brithday!!!

Today Tyler is TWO! I can't hardly believe that 2 years ago, we were sitting in a hospital waiting to take our precious gift home. Tyler has grown and learned so much in two years, and he still continues to amaze us.

We celebrated with a family party on Saturday. Tyler had a LOT of fun and is enjoying every single one of his presents. Thank you to all of our family who was able to make it (rotten Michigan winters) and for all your generosity!

It has been confirmed by Mrs. Sandy at school that Tyler has more than certainly entered into his "terrible twos" as he is choosing to not listen and push his boundries. I am learning that if I can make it through this phase, that I should be able to make it through ANYTHING. He is definately a pistol and ALL BOY!

In addition to "terrible twos" he has also developed this whole "do it self" or "me do it" thing. He is such an independant little man that he even insists on clothing changes (and does a darn good job). The other day when he was supposed to be napping, I thought he got up and when I went in his room he was still in bed, but with his shirts taken off and put back on inside-out (and arms in the head hole) and his pants off and working on getting his diaper off!!! Oh how I wish I had my camera! Hmmmm... Time for potty training?

On some positive notes, Tyler's can count to ten in English by himself and is even counting objects. And if I help him, he can count to ten in Spanish (Thanks Handy Manny). He still loves his Blue's Clues and Handy Manny, and can sing/say most parts of the songs! Last week on the way home from the mall, I could hear him "Santa..... town" and finally realized he was trying to sing "Santa Claus is coming to town". Smarty pants! Speaking of, I am hoping he does well with Santa this year, he recognizes him and gets excited, but nervous that he won't want anything to do when we visit him.....

I will post pics of his Bday soon!
